Ultrasound Kub ((Kidney and Bladder plus residual urine)

Ultrasound KUB (Kidneys, Ureters, and Bladder) refers to an abdominal diagnostic medical imaging procedure; however, the ureters are only visible if they are unusually enlarged. KUB ultrasound can help assess your urinary system and diagnose various related conditions such as kidney stones, renal infection or identify the causes of recurrent kidney/bladder pain. The prostate gland is also scanned in male patients with a KUB ultrasound.
