Chicken Pox Vaccination

Rotavirus Vaccination

Typhoid fever, caused by the bacteria Salmonella typhi, is an illness characterized by symptoms such as - prolonged high fever, fatigue, upset stomach, headache, constipation or diarrhea, coughing, and appetite loss. Infection spreads by the consumption of contaminated food or water, and it’s crucial to treat it early, otherwise it can prove to be dangerous, even fatal. 

The Typhoid vaccine is usually an inactivated type of vaccine which triggers the immune system to produce antibodies to fight the Salmonella typhi bacteria if it enters the body. It is mandatory for people who work in the F&B industry and handle food, as per the Malaysian Food Act 1983 and Food Hygiene Regulation 2009.
