Influenza is a viral infection that is prevalent seasonally and has an annual occurrence. Caused by the highly contagious respiratory virus, the disease can range from mild flu to severe complications that may require hospitalization, depending on a person’s age and overall health status. Underlying conditions, being the age of 65 and over, weak or compromised immune system are all high risk factors for influenza infection.

<p>Dengue fever is a common viral illness transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes in tropical and subtropical regions. The infection can cause a range of symptoms, from mild fever and body aches to more severe complications that may require medical attention. Certain individuals, such as young children, the elderly, those with weakened immune systems, and those experiencing dengue for a second time, are at higher risk of experiencing severe symptoms if infected.</p><h2>Who is eligible to take this vaccine?</h2><p>This vaccination is recommended for individuals aged 4 years and above.</p><h2>How many doses of vaccine will be provided?</h2><p>Dengue Vaccine is to be administered in&nbsp;<strong>TWO doses</strong>, three months apart according to the recommended dosing plan. Each dose is a 0.5 mL injection under the skin.</p><h2>When will I get vaccinated?</h2><p>Vaccination dates will be available starting&nbsp;<strong>14 May 2024</strong>. You will receive a prior notification to schedule your vaccination dates at your preferred location.
