Activated dimethicone/simethicone+dicyclomine helps relieve colic in infant, stomach discomfort and wind.
How Activated Dimethicone Works
It has antispasmodic properties which inhibits smooth muscle spasm in GIT. Simethicone has antifoaming properties which decrease gas bubbles in the GIT and removes it through flatulence.

Tinnitus, Thrombocytopenia, Dyspepsia, Gastric irritation, Asthma, Rash, Urticaria, Anemia, Nausea, Confusion
Warnings
Kidney Use With Care
Dose adjustment of Activated Dimethicone may be needed for patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Alcohol Not Advisable
There is no known interaction between alcohol and Activated Dimethicone. However, alcohol is able to worsen the peptic ulcer leading to severe bleeding. Thus, it is not advisable to consume alcohol during the treatment of Activated Dimethicone.
Pregnancy Limited Data
There are limited data on the use of Activated Dimethicone in pregnant women from animal studies and human studies. Thus, caution use has to be practised during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Generally Safe
Activated Dimethicone should not affect alertness or driving ability.
Liver Safe If Prescribed
Activated Dimethicone is safe to be used in patients with liver impairment.
Lactation Safe If Prescribed
Excretion of Activated Dimethicone has been found in human breast milk but the risk on breastfed infants is not significant. Thus, it is safe to be used during breastfeeding.
