Uses of Amlodipine + Bisoprolol

The combination of Amlodipine and Bisoprolol belongs to the class of medications known as calcium channel blockers and beta-blockers, and it is indicated for the treatment of hypertension, aiming to lower blood pressure through dual mechanisms.

How Amlodipine + Bisoprolol Works

Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, dilates blood vessels, reducing peripheral resistance and blood pressure. Bisoprolol, a beta-blocker, blocks the effects of adrenaline, slowing the heart rate and reducing the force of heart contractions, collectively addressing hypertension through dual mechanisms.

Fatigue, Dizziness, Headache, Swelling of Ankles, and Slow Heart Rate.

Warnings

Kidney Use With Care

Amlodipine + Bisoprolol should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease and in patients who are undergoing dialysis. Consult your doctor for advice before taking Amlodipine + Bisoprolol.

Alcohol Not Advisable

Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with Amlodipine + Bisoprolol as it may increase the risk of tiredness, dizziness, and drowsiness.
