Amlodipine + Perindopril
Uses of Amlodipine + Perindopril
The combination of Amlodipine and Perindopril belongs to the class of antihypertensive medications and is indicated for the treatment of hypertension.
How Amlodipine + Perindopril Works
Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle cells, leading to vasodilation. Perindopril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, reduces blood pressure by blocking the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, resulting in further vasodilation and decreased aldosterone production. Together, they act synergistically to manage hypertension.

Dizziness, Headache, Peripheral Edema, Flushing, Cough, and Hypotension.
