Uses of Beclometasone
Beclomethasone is commonly used in the treatment of Arthritis, Cancer, Eye Disorders, Nephrotic Syndrome, Oral Lichen Planus, Rheumatic Disorder, Severe Allergic Reactions, and Skin Disorders.
How Beclometasone Works
Beclomethasone is a corticosteroid. It has an anti-inflammatory property where it works by reducing the number of mediator cells, eosinophils and fibroblast activity. It also has vasoconstrictor effects where it inhibits capillary dilation and permeability.
Side Effects of Beclometasone
Nausea, Vomiting, Unpleasant taste, Nasal and throat dryness, Nasal and throat irritation, Sneezing, Epistaxis, Impaired wound healing

Kidney Use With Care
Beclometasone should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Beclometasone may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Alcohol Safe
It is probably safe to consume alcohol with Beclometasone. Taking Beclometasone with alcohol has no known interactions. However, please consult your doctor.
Pregnancy Not Safe
Beclometasone may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from the use of Beclomethasone in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Generally Safe
Beclometasone usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Liver Limited Data
Beclometasone should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Beclometasone may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Limited Data
Beclomethasone is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that Beclometasone does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
