Choline Salicylate is commonly used to relieve symptoms such as dental pain, rheumatic pain and mouth ulcers.
How Choline Salicylate Works
Choline Salicylate is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Choline Salicylate works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis and also acts on the hypothalamus heat-regulating centre hence reducing fever.
Side Effects of Choline Salicylate
Abdominal pain, Hypersensitivity reactions, Skin eruptions, Fatigue, Weakness, Dyspnea, Local irritation
Warnings
Kidney Use With Care
Choline Salicylate should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Choline Salicylate may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Alcohol Safe
There is no known interaction of Choline Salicylate with alcohol.
Pregnancy Not Safe
Choline Salicylate may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. There are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from the use of Choline Salicylate in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Generally Safe
Choline Salicylate usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well..
Liver Limited Data
Choline Salicylate should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Choline Salicylate may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Limited Data
Choline Salicylate is probably safe to use during lactation. Since adverse effects for the infant have not been reported up to now, short-term use of the recommended dose does not require suspending breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor.
