Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Pregnancy Limited Data
The safety of Dexamethasone Opthalmic Eye in human pregnancy is not established. Therefore, Dexamethasone Opthalmic Eye should only be used for pregnant women after careful risk/benefit assessment by the doctor.

There is no dose adjustment needed in liver disease as it is a topical medication with low systemic effect.

It is not known whether Dexamethasone Opthalmic Eye is excreted into the human breastmilk. It is not advisable to apply topical Dexamethasone Opthalmic Eye on the chest to avoid accidental contact with the infant.
