How Hydrochlorothiazide + Telmisartan Works

Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that works by increasing urine production, thus reducing blood volume and lowering blood pressure. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels, allowing for easier blood flow and further lowering blood pressure.
