Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol is commonly used to treat Asthma, Asthma Prevention, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

How Levalbuterol Works

Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol promotes relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle by acting on beta 2-receptors with minimal effect on heart rate.

Side Effects of Levalbuterol

Headache, Nausea and vomiting, Runny nose, Skin rash, Increased heart rate (Tachycardia), Tremor, Fever, Frequent viral infections

Kidney Use With Care

Levalbuterol should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease as drug clearance may be influenced if high dose is administered. Please consult your doctor.

Alcohol Safe

It is safe to consume alcohol with Levalbuterol as there is no known drug interactions.

Pregnancy Limited Data

There is no information regarding the safety of Levalbuterol in pregnant wome

Driving Not advisable

Levalbuterol may cause side effects such as headache, increased heart rate and tremor all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.

Liver Limited Data

Levalbuterol should be used with caution in patients with liver disease as there is no information regarding the safety of this medication used in patients with liver disease.

Lactation Limited Data

There is no information regarding the presence of Levalbuterol in human breast milk. The usage of Levalbuterol during lactation may be permissible if the benefits outweigh the risks.
