Nepafenac is both NSAID and analgesic that penetrates cornea after application. This medication reduces prostaglandin production by inhibiting prostaglandin H synthase or cyclooxygenase enzyme.

Pregnancy Not Safe
Studies about the safety of Nepafenac in pregnancy have only been conducted in animals. No human data is available. Inhibition of Nepafenac synthesis may adversely affect the pregnancy or development of the fetus, therefore this medication is not recommended to be used during pregnancy
Driving Generally Safe
Usage of Nepafenac wouldn't cause impairment in the ability to drive and operate machines. However, application of this medication may cause temporary blurred vision only drive if you are feeling well.

Lactation Limited Data
Animal studies show that Nepafenac is excreted in animal breastmilk. However, this is unknown in humans.
