How Osimertinib Works
Osimertinib is a Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor. It is an irreversible inhibitor of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptors (EGFRs) resulting in the apoptosis of tumor cells.

Diarrhea, Rash, Dry skin, Pruritus, Nail changes, Stomatitis, Decreased platelet count, Decreased white blood cells, Interstitial lung disease

Kidney Use With Care
Osimertinib should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Osimertinib may be needed. Please consult your doctor before using it.
Alcohol Safe
Consuming alcohol in moderation with Osimertinib does not seem to affect the pharmacodynamics of Osimertinib. However, please consult your doctor before using it.
Pregnancy Limited Data
Osimertinib may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Both animal studies and human studies have limited data on the adverse effects on the fetus. . It is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Please consult your doctor before using it.
Driving Generally Safe
Osimertinib cause minimal to no side effects which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Liver Use With Care
Osimertinib should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate liver disease. Dose adjustment of Osimertinib may be needed. Please consult your doctor before using it. Use of Osimertinib is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Lactation Not Advisable
Osimertinib is probably excreted into human breast milk. However, there is limited data on the adverse effect of Osimertinib to the feeding baby. Please consult your doctor before using it.
