How Polacrilex Works

Polacrilex works by replacing the nicotine from cigarettes which is found to be one of the triggers that make people continue smoking.

Side Effects of Polacrilex

Nausea/ vomiting, Diarrhea, Abdominal pain, Headache, Dizziness, Hiccups, Flu-like symptoms, Difficulty sleeping, Chest pain, Irregular periods

Warnings

Kidney Use With Care

Polacrilex can be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. However, dose adjustment might be needed, so please consult a doctor.

Alcohol Safe

Although taking Polacrilex with alcohol may be safe, if it is a regular pattern that you smoke while drinking alcohol, it is best that you avoid alcohol altogether.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Polacrilex have been proven to have risk on fetus. However, medication is allowed if benefit justifies the risk for example in a life-threatening condition.

Driving Generally Safe

Polacrilex may be safe to use before driving, however if experiencing any of the side effects that may impair concentration, it is best that you do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Liver Limited Data

Polacrilex may be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Please consult a doctor.

Lactation Limited Data

It is not known about Polacrilex effect and excretion in human milk, therefore, use may be recommended with caution.
