Kidney Use With Care

No interaction as Silver Sulfadiazine is used topically.
Pregnancy Maybe Safe
Animal studies have shown no toxic effects on the foetus. However, it does not have adequate information on human studies, therefore, usage only if clearly justified, especially in women approaching or at term.
Driving Generally Safe
Silver Sulfadiazine usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Lactation Limited Data
It is not known whether Silver Sulfadiazine is excreted in human milk but the sulfonamide class of drugs are known to have jaundice effect on newborns. Hence, usage can only be considered when benefits outweigh the harm.
