Timolol + Travoprost belongs to the class of antiglaucoma medications, indicated for the reduction of intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

How Timolol + Travoprost Works

Timolol reduces IOP by decreasing aqueous humor production, while travoprost enhances aqueous humor outflow through the uveoscleral pathway, collectively reducing intraocular pressure.

Side Effects of Timolol + Travoprost

Common side effects may include blurred vision, burning or stinging sensation in the eye, eye redness, and increased sensitivity to light. Less common but serious side effects can include eye irritation, eye pain, and changes in vision.
