Diphenoxylate works by slowing down intestine peristalsis. Atropine relieve the sharp pain caused by the contraction.

Headache, Restlessness, Ireegular Heartbeat, Hallucination, Difficulty In Urination,Paralytic Ileus

Kidney Use With Care

Dose adjustment of Atropine + Diphenoxylate may be needed for patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Alcohol Not Advisable

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Atropine + Diphenoxylate . Taking Atropine + Diphenoxylate with alcohol may have additive effects in increasing heart rate. You may also experience confusion, dizziness and palpitations.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Atropine + Diphenoxylate may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Driving Generally Safe

Atropine + Diphenoxylate should not affect alertness or driving ability.

Liver Use With Care

Atropine + Diphenoxylate should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Atropine + Diphenoxylate may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation Not Advisable

Atropine + Diphenoxylate is shown to be excreted in breast milk. It is not advisable for women to breastfeed while consuming Atropine + Diphenoxylate because of its potential adverse effects on infants.
