How Beclometasone Opthalmic Works
Beclomethasone Opthalmic is a corticosteroid. It has an anti-inflammatory property where it works by reducing the number of mediator cells, eosinophils and fibroblast activity. It also has vasoconstrictor effects where it inhibits capillary dilation and permeability.

Nausea, Vomiting, Unpleasant taste, Nasal and throat dryness, Nasal and throat irritation, Sneezing, Epistaxis, Impaired wound healing

Kidney Use With Care
Beclometasone Opthalmic should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Beclometasone Opthalmic may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Alcohol Safe
It is probably safe to consume alcohol with Beclometasone Opthalmic. Taking Beclometasone Opthalmic with alcohol has no known interactions. However, please consult your doctor.
Pregnancy Not Safe
Beclometasone Opthalmic may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited well-controlled human studies. The benefits from the use of Beclometasone Opthalmic in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Driving Not advisable
Beclometasone Opthalmic may cause eyes discomfort when the person is exposed to sunlight which can affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Liver Limited Data

Lactation Limited Data
Beclometasone Opthalmic is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that Beclometasone Opthalmic does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
