Benzoic Acid is an antifungal medication. It works by stopping the growth of fungus by averting them from building their protective covering.

Eye damage, Irritation of the skin, resulting in a rash, redness, and/or a burning feeling, Irritation to the nose, throat and lungs if inhaled, which may cause coughing, wheezing and/or shortness of breath

Kidney Use With Care
Benzoic Acid is for external application. Therefore, it is considered safe to be used in kidney disease patients. However, patients with severe kidney disease need to use with caution.
Alcohol Safe
Applying Benzoic Acid along with taking alcohol is considered to be safe.
Pregnancy Limited Data
Usage of Benzoic Acid is considered safe during pregnancy as it is meant for external use. However, it is always advised to use this with caution.
Driving Generally Safe
Benzoic Acid is for external application. Therefore, it does not interfere with the ability to drive, unless when applied for eye treatment. Do not drive unless you can see or feel well.
Liver Safe If Prescribed
Benzoic Acid is for external application. Therefore, it is considered safe to be used in liver ailment patients.
Lactation Safe If Prescribed
Benzoic Acid is probably safe to use during lactation as it is not to be found in mother's milk due to its external usage
