Uses of Betamethasone + Calcipotriol
Betamethasone + calcipotriol is used to treat scalp conditions such as psoriasis.
How Betamethasone + Calcipotriol Works
Calcipotriol regulate the cell growth rate which helps reduce the thickness of the skin. Betametasone is a corticosteroid which works by reeducing inflammation, redness and scaling of the skin.

Skin Irritation/Discomfort, Tingling Sensation

Kidney Use With Care
The effect of Betamethasone + Calcipotriol on the kidney is not known. However, it is safer to use with caution and consult a doctor before using this medication.
Alcohol Safe
There is no known interaction of Betamethasone + Calcipotriol with alcohol.
Pregnancy Maybe Safe
Topical Betamethasone + Calcipotriol maybe used during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies do not demonstrate adverse effects on fetus with the use of topical Betamethasone + Calcipotriol, and there are no adequate studies in pregnant women. This medication should only be used after the benefits and risks have been weighed properly. Please consult the doctor before using Betamethasone + Calcipotriol.
Driving Generally Safe
Betamethasone + Calcipotriol should not affect alertness or driving ability.
Liver Limited Data
Betamethasone + Calcipotriol should be used with caution in patients with liver issues. Dose adjustment of Betamethasone + Calcipotriol may be needed. Please consult the doctor.
Lactation Limited Data
Betamethasone + Calcipotriol is probably safe to use during lactation. Betamethasone + Calcipotriol passes into breast milk, but risk of an adverse effect on the infant seems unlikely with therapeutic doses. There are no data on the excretion of Betamethasone + Calcipotriol in breast milk. Caution should be exercised when using Betamethasone + Calcipotriol. Please consult your doctor.
