Clotrimazole+hydrocortisone is used to treat inflamed skin caused by fungal infection.

How Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone Works

Hydrocortisone is a steroid that works by reducing swelling, redness and inflammation. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which kills fungus and prevents infection.

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone can be used in patients with kidney issues.

Alcohol Safe

There is no known interaction of Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone with alcohol.

Pregnancy Maybe Safe

Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone maybe used during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies do not demonstrate adverse effects on fetus with the use of topical Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone, and there are no adequate studies in pregnant women. This medication should only be used after the benefits and risks have been weighed properly. Please consult the doctor before using Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone.

Driving Generally Safe

Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone should not affect alertness or driving ability.

Liver Limited Data

Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone should be used with caution in patients with liver issues. Dose adjustment of Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone may be needed. Please consult the doctor.

Lactation Limited Data

Use of Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone is not recommended in lactation. Please consult your doctor to discuss the benefits versus risks before using Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone.
