How Dexamethasone + Neomycin Works

Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid which works by reducing inflammation and irritation. Neomycin is an antibiotic which works by inhibiting the bacterial growth and prevents infections.

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Dexamethasone + Neomycin can be used in patients with kidney issues.

Alcohol Safe

There is no known interaction of Dexamethasone + Neomycin with alcohol.

Pregnancy Maybe Safe

Topical Dexamethasone + Neomycin maybe used during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies do not demonstrate adverse effects on fetus with the use of topical Dexamethasone + Neomycin, and there are no adequate studies in pregnant women. This medication should only be used after the benefits and risks have been weighed properly. Please consult the doctor before using Dexamethasone + Neomycin.

Driving Generally Safe

Dexamethasone + Neomycin should not affect alertness or driving ability.

Liver Limited Data

Dexamethasone + Neomycin should be used with caution in patients with liver issues. Dose adjustment of Dexamethasone + Neomycin may be needed. Please consult the doctor.

Lactation Limited Data
