Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B is generally safe to be used in patients with kidney disease. There's minimal systemic absorption of Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B.

Alcohol Safe

It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B. Taking Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B with alcohol has no known interactions.

Pregnancy Limited Data

Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B is not recommended during pregnancy. At the low dose administered via this topical product, Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B is not expected to cause any toxicity. Consult your doctor before using this medication.

Driving Generally Safe

Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and operate machines. As with any other eye drop, transient blurred vision may occur upon instillation. It is advised to wait until the vision clears before driving or using machinery.

Liver Safe If Prescribed

Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B is safe to be used in patients with liver disease. There's minimal systemic absorption of Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B.

Lactation Not Advisable

Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B is probably unsafe to use during lactation. It is unknown whether topical Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B are excreted in human milk. Decision on whether to discontinue/abstain from breast-feeding or to discontinue therapy with Dexamethasone + Neomycin + Polymyxin B taking into account the benefit of breast-feeding for the child and the benefit of the product to the woman.
