Kidney Safe If Prescribed
Gentamicin Topical can be used in patients with kidney issues.
Alcohol Safe
There is no known interaction of Gentamicin Topical with alcohol.
Pregnancy Maybe Safe
Topical Gentamicin Topical maybe used during pregnancy. Animal reproduction studies do not demonstrate adverse effects on fetus with the use of topical Gentamicin Topical, and there are no adequate studies in pregnant women. This medication should only be used after the benefits and risks have been weighed properly. Please consult the doctor before using Gentamicin Topical.
Driving Generally Safe
Gentamicin Topical is for external application. Therefore, it does not interfere with the ability to drive.
Liver Limited Data
Gentamicin Topical is not used for internal consumption and the amount absorbed into the circulatory system also is negligible to cause any effect , therefore, safe to be used even in a patient with liver impairment.
Lactation Limited Data
It is not known whether Gentamicin Topical is excreted into the human breastmilk. It is not advisable to apply topical Gentamicin Topical on the chest to avoid accidental contact with the infant.
