Uses of Hesperidin

Hesperidin is commonly used in the treatment of Piles and Chronic Venous Disease.

How Hesperidin Works

Hesperidin is used in combination with Diosmin to prolong the vasoconstrictor effect on the venous wall. This will help to increase the venous return and lymphatic drainage

Side Effects of Hesperidin

Nausea, Diarrhea, Heartburn, Vomiting, Headache, Dizziness, Skin rash

Warnings

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Hesperidin is safe to be used in patients with kidney impairment.

Alcohol Safe

There is no known interaction between alcohol and Hesperidin when used concomitantly.

Pregnancy Limited Data

There are limited data on the use of Hesperidin in pregnant women. Thus, it is not advisable to be used during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.

Driving Generally Safe

Hesperidin usually does not affect the ability to drive. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.

Liver Limited Data

Hesperidin is safe to be used in patients with liver impairment.

Lactation Limited Data

Excretion of Hesperidin is unknown in human breast milk. Thus, it is not advisable to be used during breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor.
