How Indapamide + Perindopril Works

Perindopril inhibits angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), thereby reducing the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor. Indapamide is a thiazide-like diuretic that promotes sodium and water excretion, resulting in decreased blood volume and decreased peripheral vascular resistance. Combined, they help lower blood pressure.
