How Insulin Aspart + Insulin Degludec Works

Insulin Aspart is a rapid-acting insulin that decreases blood sugar quickly after injection. Insulin Degludec is a type of long acting insulin, provides a longer action of blood sugar-lowering effect after injection.

Side Effects of Insulin Aspart + Insulin Degludec

Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar), weigh gain, allergic reactions, redness at the injection site, itching at the injection site

Kidney Use With Care

Patients with kidney problem may require more frequent glucose monitoring and dose adjustment may be required. Discuss with your doctor regarding this managements.

Alcohol Not Advisable

It is not advisable to drink alcohol with Insulin Aspart + Insulin Degludec as alcohol may affect blood glucose levels, both hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia can occur.

Pregnancy Limited Data

There is no clinical experience with the use ofInsulin Aspart + Insulin Degludec in pregnant women. However, it is recommended to monitor and manage glucose level throughout pregnancy and when contemplating pregnancy. It is best to work closely with your doctor on this issue.

Driving Use With Care

Your ability to concentrate might be affected if your blood sugar is too high or too low ability to concentrate or react might be affected. This could be dangerous to yourself or others.

Liver Use With Care

Patients with liver problem may require more frequent glucose monitoring and dose adjustment may be required. Discuss with your doctor regarding this managements.

Lactation Limited Data

It is unknown whetherInsulin Aspart + Insulin Degludec is excreted in human milk.
