Warnings

Kidney Use With Care

Minoxidil Topical may require dose adjustments for patients with renal failure due to disturbance in salt and water balance. Please consult your doctor before using it.

Alcohol Safe

There is no known interaction of Minoxidil Topical with alcohol.

Pregnancy Not Safe

Minoxidil Topical may be unsafe to use during pregnancy as animal studies have shown risks to the foetus but human studies are still inconclusive. However, its benefits may outweigh the risk. Please consult your doctor before using it.

Driving Generally Safe

Minoxidil Topical should not affect alertness or driving ability.

Liver Use With Care

Minoxidil Topical is safe in patients with liver disease.

Lactation Not Advisable

Minoxidil Topical is found to be excreted in breast milk and the risks to infants is still largely unknown. Therefore, it is still not recommended to breastfeed while on Minoxidil Topical.
