Nomegestrol Acetate is an oral contraception. It works on progesterone receptor that has many activities such as anti-gonadotropic, progesterone receptor-mediated anti-oestrogenic activity, moderate anti-androgenic activity, and is lacking of any oestrogenic, androgenic, glucocorticoid or mineralocorticoid activity.

Kidney Safe If Prescribed

Alcohol Limited Data

There is no information regarding drug interactions between alcohol and NoNomegestrol Acetate Acetate.

Pregnancy Limited Data

NoNomegestrol Acetate Acetate should not be used in pregnancy. Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicity on the fetus.

Driving Generally Safe

NoNomegestrol Acetate Acetate does not affect general concentration and ability to drive.

Liver Use With Care

There is no information regarding the safety or dose titration of NoNomegestrol Acetate Acetate in patients with liver insufficiency.

Lactation Not Advisable

NoNomegestrol Acetate Acetate is excreted in human breast milk. Combined oral contraceptive pill (COCP) may reduce the quantity of NoNomegestrol Acetate Acetate if it is used during lactation.Therefore, avoid using COCP during lactation and use alternative treatment.
