How Potassium Clavulanate + Amoxycillin Works

Amoxycillin is a penicillin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, while potassium clavulanate is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacteria from inactivating amoxycillin. Together, they enhance the antibacterial efficacy against beta-lactamase-producing organisms.
