Uses of Udenafil

Udenafil is commonly used to treat Erectile Dysfunction.

How Udenafil Works

Udenafil is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor which able to bind strongly and inhibit the cGMP specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) in the corpus cavernosum around the penis. This can cause smooth muscle relaxation and increases the blood flow to the penis, maintain the erection in patients with erectile dysfunction.

Flushing, Abdominal pain, Chest discomfort, Headache, Eye redness, Blurred vision, Nasal congestion

Warnings

Kidney Use With Care

Caution use of Udenafil has to be practised in patients with kidney impairment. It is not advisable to be used in patients with severe kidney impairment.

Alcohol Not Advisable

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Udenafil as it may have additive effects in increasing heart rate, lowering blood pressure, dizziness and muscle pain.

Pregnancy Maybe Safe

Udenafil has no therapeutic indication in women. Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicities only on high doses of Udenafil. Thus, Udenafil is not recommended in pregnant women.

Driving Not advisable

Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Udenafil may cause side effects such as dizziness or blurred vision, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.

Liver Use With Care

Caution use of Udenafil has to be practised in patients with liver impairment. It is not advisable to be used in patients with severe liver impairment.

Lactation Not Advisable

Udenafil has no therapeutic indication in women. Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicities only on high doses of Udenafil. Thus, Udenafil is not recommended in breastfeeding women.
