General Information
Cetirizine, a human metabolite of hydroxyzine, is a potent and selective antagonist of peripheral H1-receptors. In addition to its anti-H1 effect, cetirizine was shown to display anti-allergic activities at a dose of 10mg once or twice daily, it inhibits the late phase recruitment of eosinophils, in the skin and conjunctiva of atopic subjects submitted to allergen challenge. At the recommended dosage, cetirizine has demonstrated that it improve the quality of life of patients with perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Children (6y.o. – 12y.o.) – 5mg twice daily.

Kidney

Alcohol
Not AdvisableIt is unsafe to consume alcohol with Biowell Artrizine 10mg Tablet. Taking Biowell Artrizine 10mg Tablet with alcohol may potentiate the CNS depressant effect.
Pregnancy
Limited DataAs of now, Biowell Artrizine 10mg Tablet has not had animal studies that show any foetal risk. However, there are no controlled studies in women for now therefore pregnant women should practice caution when using this medication.
Driving
Generally SafeBiowell Artrizine 10mg Tablet usually does not affect the ability to drive if does not exceed 10mg. Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Liver
Limited DataBiowell Artrizine 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Biowell Artrizine 10mg Tablet needed unless concomitant renal impairment is present. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Limited DataBiowell Artrizine 10mg Tablet is excreted in human milk but there are insufficient studies to provide a conclusion. Hence, breastfeeding mothers are advised to avoid the medication.
