Fastum 2.5% Gel may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. It should be avoided in the first and second trimester of pregnancy and is contraindicated especially during the 3rd trimester or near delivery. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus. However, there are limited human reproductive studies. The benefits from the use of Fastum 2.5% Gel in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Driving

Not advisable

Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Fastum 2.5% Gel may cause side effects such as sleepiness, dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness or visual disturbances, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.

Liver

Use With Care

Oral and rectal administration of Fastum 2.5% Gel is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Not Advisable

Fastum 2.5% Gel is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Some amounts of oral Fastum 2.5% Gel are excreted in breast milk whereas the topical Fastum 2.5% Gel is absorbed into the skin, hence it should not be used during breastfeeding.
