Pregnancy
Not SafeStudies of Timolol-Pos 0.5% Eye Drop in pregnant women are not adequate but there are incidence of intra-uterine growth retardation of foetus if taken orally. Hence, usage of Timolol-Pos 0.5% Eye Drop should be restricted during pregnancy unless it is clearly necessary. Please do consult a doctor.
Driving
Not advisableDo not drive unless you are feeling well. Timolol-Pos 0.5% Eye Drop may cause side effects such as dizziness, headches, nausea or palpitations, all of which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.
Liver
Use With CareTimolol-Pos 0.5% Eye Drop is partially metabolized in the liver dosage reductions may be necessary in the presence of hepatic insufficiency
Lactation
Not AdvisableTimolol-Pos 0.5% Eye Drop is excreted in breast milk. However, it is unlikely that significant amount at therapeutic doses of Timolol-Pos 0.5% Eye Drop in eye drops that is present in breast milk would produce clinical symptoms of in the baby.
